“Unfortunately I have to echo the sentiments of many of the reviewers when I say the content quality has gone way down. (I have listened to all episodes of LG since it was Fempire).
I am all for monetizing the podcast, it’s a business after all, so take on all the ads you want. However, your content doesn’t need to be a “paid ad/interview or nothing”. If you go back to the old episodes, there were interviews with celebs, doctors, entrepreneurs, and non-guest episodes which were well planned and thought out. Now we have to go through filler episodes with Chris or Jared or the “Ladyhang tour of the states” one and we can all tell that it’s because you have nothing prepared!
I feel that as 30-something listeners and fans, we got to grow together in the past few years and it’s just disappointing that 2 of the trio aren’t showing that. Keltie has now become the least self aware human with borderline narcissistic qualities. That inspiring quirky funny lady we loved is detached from reality. Now in her 40s, she’s embracing this annoying Valley Girl character (she’s Canadian) with poor vocab and all-about-me personality. It’s shocking. Jac is constantly being told she’s the coolest chick on the block (a recurring theme) and I feel she has more to give than just being an Instagram girl (which is the vibe she gives off). Becca, the most grounded one, is just detached and (seemingly depressed?). Her heart doesn’t seem into it.
Maybe bring on guest hosts or hire someone to develop content if you’re too busy!
I have always loved the LG and am not unsubscribing in the hopes that this is just a slump and you’ll get back to the good stuff if you really take these reviews to heart.”
