Description
Doug Graybill visits the studio to share what he's learned as a family-run business owner for the last thirty-two years. Doug shares how he creates and maintains healthy boundaries between himself and his team, his attempt to visit Scotland without a passport, and the importance of achieving a work-life balance. Doug Graybill is the co-owner of Foxchase Golf Club in Stevens, Pennsylvania. In 1983, Doug joined DOVE International's first missions team to Scotland. He and his wife, Kristine, have a heart for the nations and God's people. The Graybills have five adult children. Quotable Quotes: "Know what you believe and why you believe it." "God is a relational god." "Every good idea I've ever had has either come from my wife or the Holy Spirit." Highlights: Understand the difference between a family dynamic and a corporate one. Not all personal relationships function healthily in a work environment. Don't let negative experiences harden your heart. Work to keep your business and family separate.  Do not let your family fall to the wayside because of your ministry or business. Be intentional about listening to your spouse and what they have to say.
