Description
In this week’s episode, Danail Tanev joins Larry Kreider via Zoom to share how his passion for learning has deepened his understanding of leadership. Danail also shares how self-awareness helps in the development of a successful leader and tells the fascinating story of growing up under communist rule. Danail Tanev serves as lead pastor of DOVE Christian Fellowship Bulgaria. Danail and his wife, Nora, host an online talk show that speaks specifically to the areas of relationships and marriage. Their show reaches thousands of people—believers and non-believers—every week. Danail is also a well-known worship leader who leads corporate worship events both regionally and nationally. Danail and his family live in Sliven, Bulgaria. Quotable Quotes: “Never stop learning.” “Self-awareness is key.” “The more you learn, the more you understand how little you know.” “Your relationships shape you.” Highlights: We will begin to see fruit when we show up, are persistent, and do a good job. Keep showing up, even when our expectations aren’t being met. Studies show that self-awareness is one of the most influential factors in the success of a leader. Understanding our strengths and weaknesses helps us know who we need on our team. It’s important to develop skills in conjunction with believing and dreaming. Psalm 128:1-2 If God has given you a talent, it’s your responsibility to do your best to develop it.
