The host’s unnecessary histrionics ruin this show
I’m having an actual physical reaction of revulsion toward the host as I listen to an episode in which a grieving father is holding his composure as he describes the worst day of his life, while the host chooses to LEAVE her mic on (and obviously NOT remove in post) to make sure we, the audience, hear her every whimper, sigh and choked sob. Lady, IT ISN’T ABOUT YOU. I am honestly irate on behalf of her guest that she would deliberately include these sounds which serve only to distract our attention from the speaker toward her. Narcissist vibes for real!

Highly recommend this for a listen! Absolutely scary epidemic that hits all walks of life and it hits hard. Leaves those living with the memories of love and laughter in a dark, angry, and lost. Wondering what we could have done to help. Thank you for sharing.
