No one does this better.
For all of the excellent podcasts coming out of the US no one has covered such a wide range subject matter, no one has done it for as long (25 years), no one has had such an eclectic and brilliant range of guests, no one has asked such insightful questions with so few words and such acerbic wit, no one has brought such continuity of subject matter and reference to previous encounters and discussion as Phillip Adams and his team. And... he does this 4 nights a week for 40+ weeks a year, with no ads, LIVE, and with easy grace and mastery of the medium. Any journo, any podcaster, any aspiring communicator, should take the time to explore the archive, listen live, and learn from the master team, the art of radio in its purest form. Timely, incredibly well researched (he reads the books he reviews!) self effacing (he is not the story) and always engaging, no matter the subject. This is why we need national independent broadcasters like the ABC because there is not a single commercial media organisation anywhere in the world that could sustain an equivalent to LNL period. Simply without peer. Matt D

It’ll need one to figure out who to replace him with when he hangs up his boots. Long live LNL.
