This was origianally lucky find. I was disappointed to find that I had listened to all episodes and there were no more to download. If woman's hour is still running, then why can't the late night discussions continue? Please make more.Read full review »

Earlier episodes had the benefit of Lauren, who has been an interesting and warm interviewer. However, the style of feminism isn’t in line with what I enjoy about Woman’s Hour, and unfortunately seems rather shallow, undeveloped and clamouring to be in-trend, rather than challenging and...Read full review »

As someone who was 226lb a year ago, the amount of people that would tell me ‘you don’t need to lose weight, you’re fine as you are’. I’d never be able to find actually nice clothing and I started tailoring my own clothes! Yes I’ve lost weight now, health reasons (hEDS and the weight hammered my...Read full review »

Unable to sleep with Joe Biden still straining for 270 so tuned in only to tune off after 10 minutes. i mean, I’m on edge anyway but all those filler ‘likes’ were absolutely intolerable.

A whole episode about how women really ought to be less assertive, less feminist, more sympathetic to the poor Iickle men and ‘make them feel included’, poor things. Because men can’t read books.

Please stop saying “like”.

Women discussing the world and life issues without sounding like angry members of a feminist political party; trying to create political sound bites and promote themselves.

I enjoy Late Night Woman’s Hour much more than Woman’s Hour- but how can you have a podcast called Woman’s Hour when it’s usually below 15mins??? Your conversations are interesting- what happens for the rest of the time?

When talking about grief everyone talked about losing someone .when my wife died I just wanted people to say she had died an not lost if I had lost her I would have looked for her James

I love this show but have things to add to conversation please allow a place for this. Email whatever option to comment after as in regular women’s hour

This segment was an absolute joke. Compensation!?? Love the podcast but that guest sounded so anti feminist.

The episode I listened to on alone/funerals Chidera Eguru was interrupted constantly which made it very difficult to follow the points she wanted to make. The other guests were interrupted much less and were able to continue their points after. If this had been a man interrupting the only woman...Read full review »

Interesting and diverse content - sometimes challenging to listen to but the last few episodes have been very badly edited with looping and repeating content

Frustrating...Really interesting podcast, however, very difficult to hear some of the guests ,as their voices are much lower than the presenters voice. Also on today’s podcast one of the contributors was talking so fast ,that I got a headache. Maybe they only have one microphone?

Normally enjoy this podcast but the episode on plant based diet was pretty awful and full of factually incorrect comments. The attitude of ‘let’s all go live in huts then’ as a response to trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle was very immature. Consumers control the market so we have to...Read full review »

I have previously written to the bbc to report finding Jenny Murray snipey & rude to her guests. It would now appear the BBC’s overall intention to disguise its right-wing clipped judgements are slipping over into the late night section. Several reviews here question “what has happened to the...Read full review »

Used to love this podcast with Lauren Laverne but recently find it to have lost its joy, all guests sharing the same views and an increasing amount of generalisation and small mindedness, especially seen in the men and feminism episode! Just a full ep of bashing feminism in a reductive,...Read full review »

Great content but the way these episodes are sliced up into tiny sections is just frustrating. Can it be an hour podcast as the title implies? A 9 minute podcast with 30 seconds of introduction is annoying, especially as we were introduced to them last week, and the week before.. Would be a...Read full review »

Thought provoking. Interesting. Learn something new every episode. Not at all ‘awkward girly laughs’ but proper discussion. Needs to be longer as I feel we only just get into the discussion.

Diverse and engaging topics by and about “real” women. Covering a range of topics relevant to women who speak freely to share their experiences and views in a collaborative and supportive forum.

Really enjoy this podcast - Lauren Laverne is an amazing host and I could listen to her read the football results. Great topics and really wide variety of guests which make you think. This podcast means that you’re getting brainier and relaxing at the same time. Wonderful!

I am a keen listener of Woman’s hour and a fan of Lauren Laverne. But when listening sometimes to Late Night Woman’s Hour I have been put off by too much inauthentic laughter by members of the panel. A bit of nervous laughter is ok, but too much gets in the way of me hearing what they are...Read full review »

I love this show. I feel like I am hanging out having a drink after work with really cool and interesting women who have a lot to say about things that matter to me. Love Lauren Laverne too!

A very interesting one this week (replacing my previous Woman's Hour listening - usually listen to Lauren on 6 Music!!). I adore listening to these podcasts. I learn so much but smile whilst doing so; what’s not to love?! My mum is extremely happy I listen because she now tells everyone that I like radio four.
Tabstabstabs via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/05/18
After some really good episodes this podcast has lost its way The subject discussed are really dumbed down. There was a bbc radio 4 program called men’s hour which had a few good episodes and then had nothing to talk about. LNWH has gone the same way. Time to end this one.

Bring back the monthly podcast! Still love it but it’s getting a bit same-y trying to squeeze as much content and topics out of the same guests week after week

The show brings a wide variety of women together in a group setting to discuss topics as they pertain to women's lived realities.
