She was born in Michoacán, Mexico and migrated to New York when she was younger, it was there that she began her work in the community alongside her mother advocating for the rights of migrant farmworkers. Susana Edith now finds herself in Dallas in support of her community under a collective called - Lucha Dallas. Under which she and her fellow collectives have formed a book club focusing on POC authors and other relevant subjects such as decolonizing our diets. She spends her time decolonizing herself and her children while actively creating platforms and safe spaces for the latinx and POC community.
