Has potential, but is problematic
I just started listening to this podcast, and I started out being entertained with the structure of Zane being a Lost fan, and Lauren being a first time watcher because it’s so fun to hear theories and opinions for the future. While the discussions are entertaining and this podcast has potential of being good, it is brought down By Lauren’s general negativity and aggressiveness. She yells and goes on tangents about how bad her mood is, and how bad her day/week has been. Just don’t record the podcast episode if your behavior is going to be that bad and you’re that emotionally unstable. Lauren also verbally threatens violence on Zane. For example, in episode 5 White Rabbit she just completely goes off the rails saying she wants to slap Zane for not agreeing with her. It’s just so unnecessary and you’d think people would be more mature as adults. Zane seems really chill and has a love for the show, so this podcasts’s saving grace may be in how they are polar opposites and this may be entertaining to some people. It’s off putting for me. Hopefully zane can make a believer out of Lauren and maybe we will see a better attitude from her in the future instead of seeming like someone has forced her to watch the show.

More reviews of Lauren Gets Lost

Their frequent guest, Kate, is also hilarious and love when they have her on. This not a completely...Read full review »
