“This podcast covers interesting current topics debated by two or three knowledgable lawyers with different viewpoints. The hosts are engaging and the production quality is usually impeccable. I wish we had this kind of podcast in Canada!
If I may - my only suggestion is that you move away from the unquestioned conservative inclination of some of your episodes. I appreciate that you try to balance your more conservative guests with more progressive ones; yet given the law's inherent conservativism this presentation sometimes misses the opportunity to be more innovative and instructive. First, some underlying, highly-questionable biases go unchallenged. Second, the more cutting-edge arguments are sometimes not fully explored and tested since the more conservative voice tires the overall discussion. For instance, I thought the episode on animal law was excellent: the guests presented alternative frameworks rather than dulling the discussion with traditional arguments. Of course, this presentation was almost obligatory given the emerging nature of this field. Yet, most other areas of the law generate inefficiencies and injustices that I think warrant a similar presentation in other episodes.
In any case, I look forward to new episodes!”
