Oral History of the Blogosphere Part 11: Jill Filipovic
Listen now
Description
A couple of weeks ago Scott and I had the opportunity to speak with Jill Filipovic, late of Feministe and a wide variety of other publications. She currently writes at her own Substack, on her own twitter feed, and in a bunch of other venues that you shouldn’t have any trouble finding. We talked about the relationship between the feminist blogosphere and the political blogosphere writ large, about changes in cross-ideological engagement, about the rise of twitter, and finally about the difficulties of managing communities of commenters. Transcript available here. The LGM podcast is now available from a variety of corporate overlords, so please perform freedom by making your consumer choice. We would very much appreciate reviews, whether of the thoughtful written variety or just by clicking on the appropriate star. The podcast is time-consuming and expensive, so also contemplate tossing a nickel in the jar. * Apple Podcasts * Android * Google Podcasts * Podchaser * Podcast Index * Subscribe by E-mail * Audible * Amazon Music
