Best Pro League of Legends Cast on the Market
If you are looking for a way to keep up with the western professional League of Legends scene, look no further cause you have landed in the most beautiful place on God’s green earth. Although get used to hearing that last bit a lot. The cast is lighthearted and entertaining, while effectively breaking down everything thats happened in the LCS, the LEC, and any international events, as well as giving you the biggest news about the global scene as well. The hosts are knowledgeable, super funny, and have fantastic chemistry together. Additionally, because this isn’t a riot endorsed cast, they are not afraid to tell you the truth. They aren’t gonna sugarcoat something. If a certain player is a dumpsterfire, they aren’t going to tell you they have “potential”! *cough cough* CLG sorry Sean *cough cough*. Lastly, they aren’t afraid to approach difficult topics, and they do so respectfully, and effectively. For example, (personal anecdote coming, feel free to skip ahead), I am a trans girl. When Remi joined the LCS on Renegades, I was ELATED to have a female player in the LCS. I consumed lots of LoL media at the time. How her presence in the league was handled was... rather poor. I remember being particularly appalled when a riot caster made a pms joke when she had to miss a week. It was shortly after this that I started listening to the proper, and then found this podcast and began listening religiously. ONLY ON HERE WAS IT EVER ADDRESSED, with reverence and respect, THAT REMI IS TRANS (not that she tried to hide it mind you, nobody else wanted to touch the topic with a ten foot pole), AND ONLY ON HERE WAS THE HISTORICAL ACCOMPLISHMENT GIVEN THE RESPECT IT DAMN DESERVED! Then they moved on! No jokes. No need to dwell on it further, or speculate on how her background could impact her play. She sat on the same playing field as everyone else. When she played poorly, she got the same amount of roasting as everyone else, and when she played well she was commended just like everyone else. It is so rare to find media that can handle such a delicate topic so masterfully. Additionally, when she passed away, the only place I heard about it from was a particularly somber episode of this cast. You boys have no idea how much those two episodes meant to me, and you have my undying respect. Sean, you were surprised when I offered to do the stream overlay for free? This is why I did it. Alright, I lost the bet, so here is my heartfelt review and I am literally bawling my eyes out at work over this right now, so I’m gonna wrap it up here. Amazing cast, great group of guys. There is a ton of really long games out there and trying to both have a life and keep up with all of it is a fool’s errand. Watch the few you care about, then let these guys concisely break down the rest for you. Another option is let these guys tell you which games are worth watching so you can watch exclusively the bangers! *edit* CLG is the best org of all time because uh....... Nientonsoh is love. Nientonsoh is life. All hail hotshotgg

My morning commute now means I need to find more podcasts, so giving this one a go. Been listening last couple of months. Decent overall, but the host is a massive CLG fan, so about 60% of each podcast is about CLG. Think it might be great once CLG gets eliminated, but god, hearing them talk...Read full review »
