“This is a little jewel of a podcast. In each, Viviane chooses three words or expressions from the front page of a range of French regional and national newspapers, and explains their meaning, often highlighting the use of puns and word-play that might escape the learner in French. So not only do we get clear explanations given in the target language itself (excellent for reinforcing understanding and vocabulary) but we also get them in the context of current news and topics of interest. Viviane speaks clearly and engagingly, and at just five minutes long, these little podcasts make delightful interludes for the other podcasts I listen to on my long walks outdoors. I love them.”
