“I’ve known Barry for quite some time now, I met him when I was a camper at Coloma Jr Guides, and the first thing I remember is noticing how meticulous, powerful and smart he was on the river. It was truly amazing to watch him row and the control and flow he had with the water, but what blew my mind was once I got to talk to and know him. He is an amazingly well spoken man, and one of the kindest people I know, and realizing the legendary nature of his time on the river truly explains his expertise on the water. My father, who got to know Barry quite well while I was off having fun at camp repeatedly has, and still will, tell me to learn from him (of which I need no reminder to do so), and I encourage you all to do the same. I have learned a great deal from him in my little time, and I am immensely excited to learn more. This podcast is a great way for him to share his knowledge, and few people are as kind as him, doing so just to share his passion for the outdoors and knowledge.
