Nice course, but where's the vocabulary??
I've completed Beginner Season 1 I'm halfway through seaon 2 beginner season 2, and it's very grammar heavy, and I realised quickly that there is little to no "essential" vocab that beginners need. The program launches in Past Conditionals, Third Conditionals and the like at the start of Beginner Season 2, all of which are not particularly high usage constructions - you can do 45 lessons of a Beginner course, and never learn what "train station" is. Lessons are strung together randomly, and don't really build on what has been previously learned. English translations are ropey at best, an example from Beginner Season 2: "It's from the service that you are sad". Probably best to avoid this while you are starting to learn and do a Michel Thomas course or Pimsleurs to get the grammar down so you can come back and learn the scant voacb on offer here.

I have been trying many podcasts for learning italian and these two are the best. Not only is it fun, but they help make it slow paced as well. I feel like I am in the room with the goofy and fun Cinzia and Marco and I'm learning very quickly. Great!
