“I’ve been trying to build my Mexican Spanish fluency for close to 2 years, and I’ve tried lots of apps and podcasts. I really appreciate Timothy’s approach because he dives right into the grammar and mechanics of the language. In all this time with the other programs, I’ve learned lots of vocabulary words, but I was still having some trouble understanding when to use por vs. para, how to use pronouns correctly, etc. The other programs just expect you to somehow pick up those nuances, and of course it doesn’t work. They want you to think you’re really learning because you know lots of nouns, but you’re not really building fluency or conversation skills. Timothy understands that once you have the structure of sentences down, adding vocabulary is easy. He flips the script and leads with the grammar. I deeply appreciate this approach.”
