Best Thing to Happen to Medical Teaching since Osler
As a professor teaching radiology in a university setting for 25 years, this is the best thing to hit radiology since Konrad Roentgen x-rayed his wife's hand. I've got to hand it to Dr. Herring. These concise podcasts are just the right length to allow residents in and out of radiology to fit a bit of learning into their hectic schedules. It's also great for dusting off the old Betz cells of those of us who have been around the block a few times already. The images are just detailed enough to demonstrate the important findings without being so detailed they bog down the podcast with too many ones and zeros. The circles and arrows, and the word slides are great at demonstrating the key points (without losing them in too much detail) and then moving on to the next points. Like the best teachers, Dr. Herring tells you what he's going to tell you, tells you, and then tells you what he told you. I'm so excited, I tell every resident I teach about this podcast, the website and the book. Kudos, Dr. Herring, Kudos!
