“Compelling and well-told. She has a great voice except, sadly, the well-spoken storytelling is derailed by her random dropping of the G on “ing” words. She doesn’t always do it which makes it seem like a schtick, as if it’s her equivalent to “full body chills,” and it’s pretty irritating but that’s my only complaint. I’ll keep listening but it’s be great if yu’d stop tryin’ tuh be “folksy.””
