“I just listened to the intro episode of your podcast, and what a message! I know from living vicariously through an experience like this that preparation is key to the end of life for the survivors.
My best friend lost her husband to cancer years ago, and thankfully he had been organized, and had made plans that were pretty extensive for a then 49 year old. His cancer affected him immediately, and if preparation had not been made, it would have been so much worse, and the 14 months between diagnosis and death were hard enough!
We have 3 sons, and we have done all that we could think of for them, and I think that sometimes our families thought we were a little morbid with all the planning!
So glad that, so far, our plans have been unnecessary!
