During the Napoleonic Wars, the Emperor of France commanded his soldiers to refrain from harming women and children in a battle against England. Edited version: by Mohammad Nasirullah Once upon a time, in a village located in Quebec, there lived a woman named Tonte Odette. She was cautious when it came to wasting resources. Tonte always kept a pot of boiling water on her stove with a few cabbage leaves. Whenever she ran out of soup, she would pour more water and add cabbage leaves to make a fresh batch.
