“Leonies latest episode about “not listening to the news” because it makes me stressed… was my tipping point. As a long time listener- I finally reached my tipping point with this episode. While nearly 20k Palestinians have been slaughtered now in Gaza…Leonie hears her husband talk about what’s happening in the Red Sea…and ponders the fact “its complicated” and she doesn’t want to upset her white fragile infantile world view… before saying “i’ve got to go to my chiropractor”…… For someone who righteously preached at others to get vaxed and also learn about the struggle of black and indigenous peoples…. turns out when Genocide is on the table at the ICC…Leonie can’t push past her infantile issues to find words that say- genocide is not ok.
