Listen now
Description
*Content Warning* The use of homophobic slurs is used within this episode to give context to the abhorrent views and actions by the extremist anti - homosexual religious groups. In this episode, we sit down with Dr. Emily Qureshi-Hurst, a philosopher based at the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on the philosophical questions raised by interactions between science and religion, particularly physics and Christianity. We take her expertise with a queer lens to figure out why religion can be used to spread hate to homosexuals, and how to handle this information/hit back.
