“I love atsuko’s sense of humor and the scrappy structure of the game. She’s has a charming earnestness and it’s grounded with insightful personal antidotes. Personally, I relate to her immigrant upbringing and so happy to see an Asian American host a comedy podcast.
My only criticism: I wish Ryan would interrupt less with his personal opinions. it’s rare to have a program led by a POC woman and so it’s jarring when a straight white male voice talks over her and her guests. I have on occasion stopped listening because of it.
