It’s not hard to fall in love with chefs. But Josh Lewin of Juliet in Somerville, and Peregrine in the Back Bay––is special to me. I’ve been privileged to watch him grow and prosper – from bistro cook, to executive chef, to pop-up entrepreneur, to an award-winning chef-owner whose idea of the purpose of a restaurant is as much about social equity for the staff, as it is about excellence in the food.
