Great Food for Thought
Just finished listening to the Emotional Intelligence episode and found it a very helpful personal exercise to listen to Taylor and Kitt’s definitions and examples of the different components of EQ. The discussion format made me feel like I was chatting with friends who had read some interesting articles on a topic of interest and were sharing and exploring the ideas. Fun and enlightening to listen to. In particular, Taylor’s descriptions of the challenges of dating someone with low self awareness really struck a chord. I particularly loved the concept of trading off on ‘Temporary Maturity Moments’ (TMMs) - I’m going to try and integrate those intentionally into my latest romantic relationship. Just this first episode has given me tons to think about and work on, so I’m excited to see what’s coming up next! Thanks Taylor & Kitt, keep it up!
