Shannon is an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee in the school of journalism and media. She has contributed to NCAA.com, covering wrestling for the last 6 years. Prior to this, she was a swimmer at American University. Shannon’s roots run deep in wrestling, as her dad was an All-American for Maryland.
