Kaid is from Stillwater, OK and was a 3x state champ for Stillwater High. It was no surprise when Kaid chose to be a Cowboy and wrestle for Oklahoma State. He announced his presence immediately when he was pulled out of redshirt and pinned the returning national champion Cody Brewer in his first collegiate match. Kaid would finish his career as a 2x AA for the Cowboys, as injuries unfortunately took a toll on his body.
