While not a story recommendation itself, I would be thrilled to hear a conversation between Mr. Burton and Dr. Ebony Elizabeth Thomas, whose work focuses on youth literacy, representation, and speculative fiction. I had the privilege to learn from Dr. Thomas, and I think it would be a generative conversation threading many of these stories together.”
