Sound Exploder For Video Games
That's the best, shortest description. But if you need more: This podcast covers an area near and dear to me and, I'm happy to say, does an awesome job. Emily Reese is an excellent host -- knowledgeable, connected with the subject. Best of all for an interview show, she asks the right questions, then just lets the guests talk. Emily Reese is just astoundingly good. The sound design of the show is great, mixing in the artist's work at all the right times; and it's all technically very shipshape and mixed professionally. Subscribe to this podcast even if you have no interest in videogame sound! It's rewarding and enlighening, and might give you some insight into a field you hadn't given a second thought to! (While you're at it, subscribe and give a listen to her previous podcast, Top Score, which was all about music in video games, and also excellent.)
