Non-affirming and othering language
On a podcast about words and language and how they matter, was disappointed with the use of normative language around neurodiversity (e.g. “neuro-atypical”, referring to people as “normal” in comparison to a neurodiverse person) on the 11/10/2021 episode.

I greatly enjoy this podcast. It has a different take on language than NPR's A Way With Words, to which I also subscribe.
