“I was delighted to hear a coverage of Korean language, but the pronunciation of almost every vowels were bastardized by the hosts. Instead of trying to do the bare minimum of comparing their sound against the show’s speaker, they decided to read them as if they are reading English words. For example, the first syllable of “mukbang” is pronounced as “muck-”, not “mook-“. After the third or fourth of these errors, I stopped listening. Instead of clarifying the horrible translation they talk about, they add to the misrepresentation.”
