Episode 21 | Sherlock Holmes (2009)

Description
For this episode, it's Jessica's pick! And she chose Guy Ritchie's witty romp, 'Sherlock Holmes' (2009). This adaptation stars Robert Downey Jr. in the title role with Jude Law as Watson. Rachel McAdams plays Sherlock's nemesis/love interest Irene Adler, and Mark Strong is the mysterious villain, Lord Blackwood. Sherlock himself gives us so much to talk about as we examine his selfishness and narcissism that exists alongside his genuine care for Watson and love for Irene. This movie is full of witty humor, which requires the ability to think ahead in order to work. We look at Sherlock's extreme swings from motivated to stagnant and find lots of life coaching goodies. Sherlock Holmes may be a brilliant detective, but can he solve himself? Thanks for listening! We'd be so grateful if you could leave us a review wherever you listen to podcasts.
