This week there was a woman who tweeted "A 4.0 at a HBCU is not equivalent to a 4.0 at a rigorous PWI. No shade being thrown, but that's the truth." Obviously alumnus of HBCUs have been bothered with this all week. It has sparked a debate that is somewhat perpetual.  Now one of the most persistant issues in the black community is perception of self worth. That is at the root of this debate.
