“My husband and I were part of Hillsong Church for years. There we found salvation, developed a close relationship with Jesus and the grace to strengthen our marriage, and my husband’s sobriety. Our family’s foundation was restored. Carl played a big role in our journey. Every word he spoke poured into our soul, our hearts, our minds and our decision to follow Jesus. We loved seeing Laura at church or sometimes in the parking lot, she was sweet and welcoming, always had an encouraging word for us. When everything happened with Carl we were heartbroken and devastated and as my husband often said, the enemy had won a big battle by taking Carl out. But I knew in my heart that God’s grace is endless and that eventually they would come back, stronger, wiser and that they did! We are so happy and grateful. We are here for the whole Lentz family!
