Good astrological insight, but more discernment please
I would give this podcast 4 stars for the astrological insights, and understand that Stephanie’s perspective comes from her beliefs in radical responsibility and karma. While I certainly believe that we are all on our unique chosen path, and also believe in taking responsibility for ourselves, I think a little nuance would be appreciated. There have been some truly questionable moments in this podcast that have made me lean towards giving it 1 star. Things like telling a person who’s been cheated on, “Well what did YOU do to make this person cheat?” feel strangely victim-blaming. This week’s podcast going off on a tangent on how pit bulls have an innate sense to be antagonistic was strange too; I hope that any discerning spiritual person would understand that life is more grey than black/white, and that people’s behaviors don’t just happen in a vacuum. Whether we’re talking about pit bulls, or we’re talking about people, there is environmental conditioning (like family, lack of social support from our government, societal conditioning, etc) on top of our birth charts that lead to the people we become. Pit bulls aren’t inherently evil animals, it’s their conditioning and the people that train them (or lack of training) that make them the way they are. The same goes for people, and I would hope that Stephanie (with her Sag curiosity) would do a little more reading and learning to provide even more nuanced perspective in episodes.
