“So I found out about this via the Roast Battle episode on Comedy Central.
I think there was just something so funny about how brutal they were to each other but strangely lacking the malice you normally also get - this was, I’m glad to say 108 (as I’m listening) episodes of just two friends having a chat and forgetting the subject of the week.
At times I’ve felt like I was sitting at the next table overhearing a venting session but such is the warmness of these two that when they have a moan (mostly Tom but he is delightful in doing it I could listen to him be annoyed for days) they are still funny.
The temptation to put 1 star here was almost too great but this really is a funny half hour every week or so and I’m glad I tripped into it as it’s been very enjoyable these past 5 weeks or so speeding through the podcasts which have helped me also by lessening the outside noise when paired with cancelling earphones - except the one in a park - that one sounded like a hurricane orgy 🤣
I’m not a like minded friend but listening to this I feel a bit of an honorary one - like those degrees they give tv presenters for free in-front of kids who’ve spent 4 years and thousands to get one”
