“A show I really used to like but has not kept up with modern day limited content such as Drafting Archetypes (the gold standard), Limited Level-ups and Lords of Limited (both competing for silver). The Karlov Manor sunset show was an all-time low with such a onedimensional assessment of the set which was only accurate the first few weeks of the format. Feels like a major news channel blasting some cheap takes into the ether and ignoring the back stories and nuances. For example Chalk outline and insidious roots decks are very real and good, and you don’t have to be Sam Black to make it work (it helps though). It’s pity as Luis is a fantastic ambassador of the game and less enfranchised players might now be scared of the set thinking it’s all white aggro. There is so much fun to be had and figuring out what works is such a great part of the game. Hope the show can bring more guests with different views, like Sirko who rightfully defended our green analyst.”
