“I’m currently in a point of exhaustion with the MCU. It’s 2018, and we’re only just about to get a black superhero solo film and are still waiting for a female-led film. Hence my exhaustion with straight white men fighting and destroying things.
But if anyone can reach through my foggy response to the MCU, it’s Lani and Josh. I’ve followed Lani’s work for years, and when it comes to story expertise, she is a money-where-your-mouth-is kinda gal. She’s amazingly intelligent and delightful. Josh is a personal friend of mine, so I’m a witness to how he can make me excited about superheroes. The Phase 1 episodes are a great indicator as to where this show will go. I can’t wait for more!”
