Used to be better
The earlier episodes were really good. Longer conversations, more natural, thoughtful questions that developed along with the conversation. Now the episodes are too short and over edited. They feel less meaningful, more staged and like the hosts are watching the clock. I find the editing of side effects and music at the start are too over the top, like commercial radio. Sensory overwhelming for my disability. I wish the conversations were longer so that they can dig deeper into really important stories and ableism. It just feels like a lot is being missed out on. Anti-fat discrimination has come up a few times in different episodes. The hosts need to educate themselves on that. We can’t be discrimination free until we’re all free. Listen and read Aubrey Gordon’s work.

SO happy I found this podcast (through Dylan’s episode on Shameless). Already smashed out all 7 episodes in 2 days. So insightful, keep doing what you’re doing, can’t wait for the next episode boys!

Love the podcast guys! Very raw and honest, I love the emotional depth it goes into. I’m an occupational therapist and have found it really valuable hearing more personal experiences people have had, it helps personalise things with my clients.
