The one podcast you MUST listen to
I’m a BIG fan of this podcast and really look forward to it every week. Sincere and Mike have passion for a huge range of interesting topics but the overarching theme is about having a strong mind and going after what you want in life, without seeking the approval of others. These guys walk the talk of living life aggressively, yet are authentic and honest about the reality of taking the road less travelled. This human side is what makes the show different. The show has a range of guests (often not fitness-related) who have all taken their own path in life. What’s unique is that you don’t hear polished PR – instead you get authentic, raw, and sometimes downright hilarious conversations (with the occasional and necessary smack in the face). It’s like having meaningful conversations with people who are playing at a higher level in life which gives you the motivation to up your game. The show’s thought provoking discussions have opened my mind to what’s going on in the world (that’s meaningful) and what’s possible (with the right mindset). My standout episodes are the interviews with James Pond (a must listen), Daniel Coyle (how to get good at anything), Bruce Buffer (inspiring), Robert Green (fascinating), Ashley Borden (a new perspective on exercise recovery) and Ken Blackburn (comedy gold) but every episode has some food for thought to apply. I’ve had a tough few months in my personal life but listening to Sincere and Mike has given me a sense of perspective, and the motivation to apply their wisdom. Thanks for putting great information out there guys – all I need now is the time to read of the books that you’ve recommended!
