“tl;dr - This podcast is everything I wanted to know about my favorite show!
I finally caught up! I am a huge Agents of SHIELD fan, and only recently found out about this podcast and have been working to catch up.
Short aside: I found this podcast and started listening the day I got my first vaccine shot, which feels very appropriate given Lil’s character Jemma is a biologist. Because of that, this podcast will always be tied to that very exciting moment standing in line to get my first shot. I now often listen to this podcast during commutes or when on walks.
Anyways, I enjoy very much getting to hear about the journeys of the actors becoming our favorite characters and more so the background info about the many talented people who contributed to the AOS masterpiece. I have often said, that I missed my calling in life to be on a set crew and designing the sets and props, which I did a bit in high school, so the podcast gives me a taste of the world and dreams of maybe one day getting to try it again.
Lastly, a fun suggestion: when listening to Simon’s episode, y’all talked about how at table reads, the cast would say “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” in unison. It would be fun to get some of the cast to record themselves saying it and you add it to the end of your sizzle reel!
