Sophie Wilksch - Shedding, Inside and Out
Listen now
Description
Meet Sophie Wilksch, an extraordinary woman who many years ago heard the call of the building site and decided to turn away from her architectural degree and up tools instead. Her dream became to empower others through the practical skills of carpentry, opening up an all-inclusive workspace project called Shedding.  What was it like to be a cycling woman in a very masculine and very physical environment? Did she have to fit in with the fellas and their endocrine systems or was it a space to educate them about hers? How tuned in was Sophie herself to her own fluctuations and what was the powerful space in which she learned more about her own body?
