Spirituality and radical, critical outlooks go hand in hand
Was very disappointed in some recent podcasts poorly attempting to allude to whiteness and its role in colonisation. There is a lot of space in spirituality for these conversations to happen, and I hope that less evasiveness (from speakers, not necessarily the host) and more direct consideration of what the world is COLLECTIVELY reckoning with right now can occur in honest, open ways as the podcast’s themes call for. Had to stop listening halfway, because it simply did not resonate with me. There is a lot of space for challenging these concepts head on (and there is nothing wrong with creating space for Black + POC speakers - not performative, as the host says) and I hope to one day return as a listener to find that more of a reality on what is otherwise a promising space for spirituality on podcasts.

This podcast helps me feel connected to many inspirational and like-minded people. As I pay attention to life cycles and moon phases and tarot I feel fear of what the world will think of my interests. This podcast helps me stand in my power! Thank you ✨

I also have a somewhat strained relationship with my mother and so that piece...Read full review »
