If you think you’re too old to learn how not to take things too personally, you’re totally wrong. I always thought as a sensitive person, as an empath you have to live with this constant challenge that you don’t know whether you’re wrong or whether it’s someone else’s fault. But this isn’t true. You can learn it at 40, 50, or 60, and it’s still so helpful when you get to the point.
In this episode, I go back to my childhood in order to explain to you where this challenge comes from, and I hope you will see parallels in your life that will help you discover where your over-sensitivity stems from.
When we grow up with adults who aren’t able to keep their emotional state under control and who kept on throwing at us all their tantrums without filtering them, we often ask ourselves in our adult lives: What’s wrong with me?
Listen to this episode of “Living Without Fear” to learn how not to take things too personally.
