“I like Landon’s informed takes and vocabulary. He’s a sharp dude who knows the game. Doesn’t have the best voice for radio, but he’s good to go.
Marcus is great for Twitter, but he’s bad for the pod. He mispronounces a lot of names, even guys who play for the Cowboys. Ex: “Ty-RON Smith” instead of “Ty-run Smith.” That’s an egregious repeated error considering he “covers” the team and does radio. He also says “eckspecially” and “Ore-Gone.” Like, you’re doing radio, Marcus. Tighten up. And quit asking Landon “right?” every time you offer a take or point; you sound unsure of yourself.
That said, having a co-host has helped Landon tremendously. He used to fumble through his solo shows. BUT, I miss the Best Coast Boys pod. Landon and Owning were trench-play nerds I learned a lot from, and they had goober chemistry. That was a fun pod.”
