I have to change this review since the change in hosts. I don’t think it’s as fun anymore and I’m not sure the same level of sensitivity and respect is always there. Sometimes it feels like a Hockey Man flexing his credentials over someone genuinely passionate and I do not love that.
We need more people in sports broadcasting like Danielle and Rachel! The show is always fun and well thought out and both hosts are consistently respectful in how they discuss players and sensitive topics in the world of hockey. I’ve been listening from the start and love having episodes as part of my daily routine.
Literally the only criticisms I have about the show relate to things beyond the hosts’ control. The length of ads can be a bit off-putting but, as I said, that’s about the network, not the hosts and I appreciate how much work a daily podcast must take.”
