The mouth slurps and swallows are disgusting
David Locke hates his daily listeners. It’s one thing to record from your van before hitting the slopes, but the eating, the chewing, the mouthbreathing, like he has just climbed a flight of stairs, it’s unacceptable. He has resources. He has created a podcast brand that doubtless has interns that could edit it to an acceptable level. He’s a radio play-by-play announcer. He has to know how his audio quality is totally unprofessional. And beyond that, he sounds like your friend who you know barely passed high school math when talking about stats and analytics. Obsessing over screen assists, or his custom draft analysis (that somehow doesn’t include the historically most reliable shooting statistic, free throw rate). It’s great that he created a viable podcast brand, but his position as Jazz employee creates obvious conflicts of interest and he has sacrificed honesty in his coverage too many times to maintain that.

Get off your high horse, Locke. Stop lecturing us like we are all children who dont know anything about basketball. You are WAY too close to the team to see anything about whats going on. Im done being lectured.

Even as a Houston rockets fan and he does stuff for the Utah, I love this show... It's not just Utah jazz stuff, it's a complete nba and sports show. Great job with the show and keep up the great workRead full review »
