Just another shrill voice in the cacaphony
He talks in this sing song voice with a pretense of balance, but substance wise, it’s just another shrill voice of unsatisfied expectations. He’s constantly jumping on or off some trend based on a whole slew of contrived circumstances. He then poses some straw man counter argument and sums up with a pretense of a considered position. I know it’s not fair to expect an oracle, but it’s a given that whatever trade or acquisition he’s pulling is doomed to fail. Maybe if he demonstrated some depth of analysis, I would listen hoping for some insight. Maybe if he went against the trend of running the latest villain out of town for a season that doesn’t meet this fan base’s elevated and unrealistic expectation, I could tolerate it. But it’s all of those, without the humor, personality or insights that I could get from any drunk Jet fan droning on from a barstool at my local dive.
