“This is my fav pod, started listening about a month after y’all started. Right before (or after) the Dennis draft.
Question: two trades, are either possible and what do y’all think. Both require the knicks to let us unprotected the pick.
Trade 1: hardaway and Josh green and 2 picks and 2 swaps for jaylen brown? Alternatively, (and more realistically probably) hardaway and Brunson and maybe one pick? I don’t know if we’re better if we trade Brunson but I’m not sure we can afford him next year anyways, he’s due like 20mil per and would work with Boston well I think.
Trade 2: I think this one would be good, hardaway and Powell plus all the picks and swaps necessary for Ben Simmons. He could play the Powell role offensively and would be a huge upgrade on hardaway defensively. He can’t shoot but neither can Powell and he can pass and create a bit too. This is also one I think is more realistic if we include Brunson and I actually think it makes more sense to include him in this one since Simmons is a better creator. Would maybe want another player back if Brunson is included though.
