Your first rodeo?
Some days I’ll listen to you and value your opinion. But this entire week... 🤦‍♂️ your logic is flawed and I question your CFB bias, evaluating skills and your overall research. You address “team needs” in mock drafts for top-5 picks over drafting BPA- there’s not one individual working in a front office in the entire NFL that would take a middle-tier position player over the top graded BPA’s at skill positions. And Saquon isn’t a generational talent?? Watch the PSU-Iowa/Northwestern/Michigan/OSU/Washington games from this year and you’ll notice they stacked the box on every. Single. Play. That Saquon’s in. Then compare the respective team rankings at stopping the run; evaluate the talent of the individual players that he was up against; then read about the OL struggles that continuously plague that team (especially this year). Then do the same thing for the previous years, but take into consideration any wild cards, like maybe the team is recovering from a death sentence from the NCAA for instance. Maybe the roster he’s on had players from numerous coaching/OC staffs. Come on man- both of you can still be SEC homers, but clearly there’s a reason why every “analyst” is going Bonkers for this kid. While I’m at it- if after evaluating the individual QB’s in this class, you honestly think that they are BPA, then ok- I can see why you’d mock all 6 of them in the 1st round, and in doing so would put this QB class better than every class probably even preceding the 2004 draft. If you don’t see them as BPA then apply some common sense- i.e. if a coach, GM and owner all say they’re sticking with their QB next year, and they drafted a QB in the 3rd round last year to groom as a franchise player, then maybe they don’t draft a QB they aren’t in love with just for the sake of drafting a QB..? Your logic’s based on teams that you deem “need” a QB, but try this- look at teams that don’t need a QB. Are the vast majority of teams set with a good QB that aren’t into their third contract yet? If so, then wouldn’t you think that takes quite a bit of emphasis off the value of QB’s this year? After all, there should be a couple of QB’s in the 2019, 2020, etc. drafts. Still giving 5 stars because I do listen everyday- you just struck a cord this week.

Y'all are producing great content. Keep it up. Love hearing the hype on Lamar Jackson. This week vs Clemson is a big game. It will show how he handles pressure and what not. A weakness I'm worried about is his accuracy, he can really struggle at times with placement and just missing guys,...Read full review »
