The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the New York Knicks won 111-104 in Gam 1 of their 1st round Eastern Conference playoff series. Things started out well for the Sixers as Joel Embiid played the entire first quarter scoring 15 points but after a thunderous jam from the reigning MVP late in the second quarter he appeared to injure the same knee that knocked him out for two months during the regular season. Embiid would go to the locker room and give the Sixers and their fans a huge scare. Segment 1: THREE BIG THINGS: 1) Joel Embiid’s injury scare 2) Knicks owned the glass! 3) Bench Scoring for the sixers was a joke! No Help! Segment 2: Maxey is a ride or die guy! Aside from a team high 33 points with reverse layups driving layups and floaters and three pointers, he was diving on the floor late in the 4th quarter to try and get his team an extra possession. Segment 3: It’s all on Embiid! Injury status is all that matters for Monday’s Game 2.
